Sanubiom GmbH is an innovative company from Tyrol, Austria. We have been researching the interactions of bacteria and bacteriophages in the human body since 2010. To this end, we work together with the Medical University of Innsbruck, the MCI Innsbruck and other international research institutions.
… is the balance of your skin. From our own experience with neurodermatitis – and the long path of suffering associated with skin conditions like this – we have started to look for alternative solutions to drug treatments. We found what we were looking for in phage therapy, which has been used successfully in Eastern Europe for decades. We are happy to share with you the knowledge and experience that has gone into developing our SkinCare products over the years.
We are proud to be the first in the cosmetics industry to integrate groundbreaking bacteriophage technology into our products. Our vision is to push the boundaries of modern research and production to create innovative and highly effective cosmetic products that promote the health and balance of the skin.
Our research department is at the heart of our commitment to innovation. With a dedicated group of scientists and international collaborations, we are a leader in the research and application of bacteriophages in cosmetics.
Bacteriophages are tiny viruses that can specifically attack bacteria. In our research, we have discovered how these tiny heroes can be used in skin care. They help to promote the balance of the skin flora by specifically eliminating harmful bacteria and thus contributing to healthy skin.
Our modern production methods and production facilities are based on sustainability and responsibility towards the environment. The use of bacteriophages in our products enables us to dispense with traditional preservatives and chemical additives.
Our approach to bacteriophage cosmetics is characterized by innovation, the highest quality and the desire to meet the needs of our customers. Every product we develop is the result of meticulous research and strict quality controls based on ISO 22716. We emphasize transparent communication about the benefits of bacteriophage technology and how it can transform skincare.
At a time when advanced science and sustainability are key, we are using our passion for bacteriophage cosmetics to usher in a new era of skincare. We invite you to be part of our journey, which is characterized by health, research and the natural power of bacteriophages. Together we are shaping a future to offer sustainable solutions for healthy skin.
The condition of your skin depends on your skin microbiome. Bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa or Streptococcus disrupt the balance of the microbiome and can cause or exacerbate skin infections such as neurodermatitis, rosacea and acne.
With Phage Technology, we have developed an innovative technology that destroys Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Streptococcus, among others, without attacking the rest of the microbiome.
At Sanubiom, we pride ourselves on delivering only the highest quality products to our customers. In addition, our products are free from silicones, parabens, kerosenes, PEGs, PAKS, aluminum, microplastics, without cortisone
In recent years, we have developed into one of the leading companies in Central Europe for application-oriented bacteriophage research and intend to further expand this leading role.
Look forward to our other products that will strengthen your microbiome. Sign up for our newsletter so that we can inform you as soon as these products are available.
We at Sanubiom were allowed to be part of the knowledge documentary “What’s good about viruses?” on Bayerischer Rundfunk. This documentary highlights how topical and, above all, current phages and phage therapy are as an aid against diseases.
Tonja, the subject of the documentary, suffers from cystic fibrosis. This hereditary disease is responsible for the fact that the metabolism only functions to a limited extent.
There is also a multi-resistant germ in the woman’s lungs. This means that no antibiotic works.
The last resort for Tonja before the lung transplant is phage therapy. However, this is not approved in the EU.
